i purchased my 4 year old great nephew the V Reader. What a fabulous gift. It’s like a Kindle for little minds. Each story comes with various activities which are fun, thought provoking and academic. He loves Shrek and the V Reader makes him feel like he has a book like my kindle. I an buying one V Reader book every month and he looks forward to getting the following book. Before everything i assumed the cost was a chunk much but they’re very definitely worth the price.

Well, here we’re, only two days out from Christmas Day. Our darling 4 1/2 year old received her VReader on Christmas Day, from us. i’m back to offer our impression of it thus far.

We didn’t really find time to do much with it until very late last night. i used to be going to observe it somewhat while she had a late snack of peppermint ice cream. Before I knew it she had finished and was back to me just as i used to be about to begin fiddling with it.

I handed it over to her. We bought her five cartridges/titles for it, plus the single it came with. The titles we own are: Shrek, Toy Story 3, Olivia, Dora and Tinkerbell. The age spectrum varies a whole lot among those titles. i used to be desperate to see the representation of varied age levels. i used to be pleased to locate that Shrek is way tougher than probably the most other titles. i feel it has the best age rating; it’s ages 5-7. Toy Story 3 has an age rating of three-5. While Toy Story 3 was relatively easy/babyish for her, it was still fun and that i believe engagin if not exactly challenging. This suggests the creators pulled together a very good package. The Shrek title will definitely last her ages. A number of it’s easy enough for her to do now but some will take her a long time to master and that’s good.

We’d played with the demo units that can be purchased this Christmas season. But demo units akin to the stores had aren’t really definitive. There just wasn’t enough variety in what it allowed the user to do. To date it appears that every title has the choice of reading the title story or having the unit read it aloud to you. Each title also appears to have various games, say, perhaps about 10-12, related to the tale! i used to be really surprised by the choice of activities included in each title!

I think this unit goes to last her a very long time. i think we are able to grow to be buying much more titles. Our youngster is a huge reader. She is already reading 3 and four letter words on her own and that i recently caught her decoding the word “chapter” as she tried to read a book herself! i like that she likes to read. i feel her VReader goes to be a pleasing compliment to her homeschooling in addition to her personal delight in books.

My son loves anything to do with trains and this new V. Reader I got for him. It’s fun to read and it tells the story and is almost like a mini movie to keep them entertained. Fist electronic book he will lisen to all the words read on a page before continuing onto the next….

My little boy just loves this book. I have purchased all of thbooks 3-5 yr age range. Its his favorite one. The games in this book are educational and entertain him for long periods of time. I usually ought to put the V-reader as much as do other games!!!

Can purchase this one..not a best one but ok to buy it for the cost! Will recommend this for others.

Bought this for my 5 year old daughter who’s learning to read but isn’t there yet. She loves it! I do wish there has been more content on each book cartridge since they cost about $20/each. However, you’ve the choice to shop an SD card and download stories from Vreader for pretty cheap. Still glad i purchased it!

my husband and that i got this for our two granddaughters, ages 3 & 6, for Christmas, it was the proper money we spent for them this year.

i bought this for my granddaughter, who’s five years old. She loves my kindle but isn’t quite ready yet for a Kindle. I purchsed the V. Reader for her and several other of the cartridge/books. She really enjoys scooby doo. I just wish there has been a bigger number of cartridges for the V Reader. But really engages her and that i can tell, she’s going to be an avid reader! She prefers the reading to watching tv, which i love!

I got this for my granddaughter Chloe and he or she really enjoys the tale! She really liked my reading her stories off my kingle and he or she wanted her own. Since she is purely five, the V Tech reader met her needs and these story cartridges are easy to make use of, and sturdy! My only wish is that there will be a bigger story selection. Olivia is a smart story!!

We’re very satisfied with the V-Tech sytem and the Olivia cartridge. My 2 1/2 loves it! loves taking note of the stories.

i purchased the Vtech Reader for my my granddaughter and he or she really enjoyed the Disney Princess. She just turned five and loves my kindle but isn’t quite ready for that. The Vtech reader bridges the space. I just wish there was a bigger library of news available.

this was a present for my grand daughter. Her Mom is happy in regards to the reading enhancement the V Reader will provide. And that is certainly one of her favorite characters.

I got this a couple of weeks ago. It’s fun to play with. i love hearing the story’s. These learning games are alot easyer for me to play with instead off ps2.
